Eli Bechavod Thanks for the followup. Here is a workaround that may help - if you select all of the nodes on your scene (you can do this quickly by zooming out & using the box select tool), then move the entire group by dragging, this will 'pin' the nodes to the scene (any time you move nodes they should be 'pinned'. Then, expansions should have minimal effect on the placement of any pinned nodes.
Unfortunately moving away from the scene (e.g. by using another part of the console and coming back to Explore) will trigger a relayout which I know will be frustrating - but we do have plans to address this behaviour so that nodes persist in their previous location when leaving and then returning to Explore.

Dear Jeff Thanks for the suggestion and you follow up respond. I tried following your workaround by selecting all the nodes, zooming out, and dragging the entire group to pin them to the scene. Unfortunately, it didn't work as expected. Each time I tried, everything was still repositioned back to the center, even after I moved them.
Given the scale of resources I’m working with, it becomes quite challenging to manage.
If I missed something, I’d appreciate it if you could share a short video demonstrating the solution for now.
